Diagnostic Tests Provided by Us
We provide a wide range of test to help evaluate the type and degree of your hearing loss, if any. The tests provided by us are:
PTA: Pure Tone Audiometry
This test is used to identify hearing threshold levels of a person, helping to determine the degree, type & configuration of hearing loss.
SAL, SRT,SDT:Speech Audiometry
SRT is the softest spondee or bi-syllabic words that a person can repeat at least half the time. SDT is the lowest speech stimulus that a person can detect at least half the time.
OAE:OtoAcoustic Emission
It is detection of the sound generated from within the inner ear that determines how well the inner ear or cochlear is working.
BSERA:Brain Stem Evoked Response Audiometry
This is a neurological test of the function of the auditory brainstem’s response to auditory (click) stimuli.
SISI & TDT: Special Tests
These special tests are performed to help detect and the auditory fatigue.
Impedance Audiometry
The main aim of this test is to find the status of the tympanic membrane & middle ear by using tympanometry. It also evaluates the acoustic reflex pathways.
